Morton’s Neuroma

Morton’s neuroma is a painful nerve condition that affects the ball of the foot, most commonly between the third and fourth toes. It occurs when the nerve becomes irritated or compressed, often due to tight footwear, high-impact activity, or abnormal foot mechanics. Symptoms may include burning pain, tingling, numbness, or the feeling of a lump or pebble under the forefoot.

For patients needing additional relief, we offer cortisone injections to reduce inflammation or alcohol sclerosing injections, a series of treatments that use a diluted alcohol solution to shrink the swollen nerve tissue over time to provide long-term pain relief without surgery.

Treatment for Morton’s Neuroma

Most cases of Morton’s neuroma can be managed conservatively, but for persistent or advanced cases, surgical referral may be discussed.

If you’re experiencing forefoot pain or numbness, early treatment is key. Our team can help confirm the neuroma and guide you through the best treatment plan.
